2010 Quilt Trails Road Rally - June 26

Quilt Trails! A Road Rally! The Blue Ridge in June!

THIS is what a summer day should be! AND – there are great prizes and a FREE BBQ dinner at the last stop - compliments of and on the grounds of THE COVE AT CELO MOUNTAIN, Corporate Underwriter for the Quilt Trails of Western North Carolina.

Best of all, this Road Rally is done on "mountain time" – leisurely. Life here is about slowing down and enjoying the beauty and grace of the people and place all about you. Executive Director, Barbara Webster, says it is not about speed but about the ability to read a map and to find the 12 painted quilt blocks you are given by driving the fewest miles. You are given 8 hours – 9:00 to 5:00 pm. This leaves plenty of time for photography, hiking, and shopping – three things you will definitely want to do along these scenic routes.

Limited to 35 cars at a cost of $35 per car – all proceeds going to support the efforts of this award-winning non-profit.

Pre-registration is a must by June 19 at: www.quilttrailswnc.org. For more information, call: 828-682-7331.
