    Isn't the place to far from a neighbor or a community? I guess it would be better if the house is located to a place near a good community where travel is not a problem.

    Dave, This beautiful small sanctuary setting is between 2 wonderful historic mountain towns - Spruce Pine and Burnsville, NC. Spruce Pine's Knife and Fork just won the 2011 WNC Chef Challenge - beating out chefs from Grove Park Inn and Biltmore Estate as well as some of Asheville's top restaurants. Burnsville has some wonderful shopping and is home to the acclaimed Parkway Playhouse. We are 10 minutes from the renowned Penland School of Crafts. We are 45 minutes east of Asheville (until the 4-lane is finished soon and then closer to 30 minutes) and 45 minutes west of Boone driving through back roads of some of the prettiest scenery you can imagine. One of the things they most like about The Cove at Celo Mountain is the location, the proximity of wonderful historic small American towns - yet close enough for Asheville's eclectic offerings (Fodors top Destination place of 2011.)
